Girish Venkat - Chief Executive Officer

Girish is the driving force behind the company's unique business strategy. As the CEO and Chief Software Architect, Girish has been instrumental in negotiating corporate strategic initiatives, including relationship with Stamps.com (NASDAQ: STMP), the leading provider of Internet mailing and shipping services, OnStation.com, Archive.com, the leading provider of business-to-business transaction archiving and insight services, and other internet start-up companies. Girish has over 10 years of experience in architecting scalable and high availability Internet and client-server applications. Girish has been involved in the product conceptualization, system architecture and implementation for several start-up companies and has provided consulting services to companies including NetFlip, Information Management Resources (IMR), Equinox Solutions, Reuters America and others. Girish holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, India.

Satish Ramakrishnan - Chief Technology Officer

Satish has 16 years of experience managing large technology teams and delivering enterprise software products. Satish has worked at large companies like Wipro and BEA and has helped build companies from the ground floor, including PointCast (acquired by AOL), KnowNow Inc., Good Technologies and Women.com (acquired by iVillage) – the last of which he helped take public. He has successfully raised capital, been instrumental in key sales and partnership opportunities, and built large and small teams from scratch both in the U.S. and off-shore. Immediately before coming to CoreObjects, Satish was the head of Weblogic Integration at BEA. Satish was the original VP of Engineering at KnowNow Inc. where he launched the company, championed new product development, acted as the primary contact for prominent clients such as Morgan Stanley, PeopleSoft, and others and managed the release of five cutting-edge products. At PointCast, Satish was the VP of Engineering where he led over 140 engineers and spearheaded the company’s first web portal effort while managing a scalable system that distributed more than 400 million pages daily. Satish earned a BS in Computer Science from Mysore University where he graduated fourth in his class.

Vishal Purohit - Chief Operating Officer

Vishal has been involved with managing business Consulting and Technology Strategy for several years. Before joining CoreObjects, Vishal was SVP – Strategy & Solutions at a mid-sized consulting firm, prior to which he has led global consulting operations for a large systems integrator. He has extensive background in technology; he was the chief architect for the largest banking software company based out of Ireland. A bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering, he holds multiple responsibilities with CoreObjects – managing strategy, Indian operations, strategic alliances and corporate communications.

J. Patrick Ravenel - Senior Vice President, Delivery

Patrick has been recognized as a top designer and architect of enterprise software and systems. Known industry-wide for delivering products to Fortune 1000 customers, he was a major contributor to the development and deployment of many high-volume trading and commercial EDI systems and, most recently, invented new ways of managing Enterprise Security and Compliance on a massive scale. Patrick was a central figure in the funding of Preventsys, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) , an award-winning provider of Enterprise Security and Compliance Management products. Patrick was the Director of Distributed Computing for Persistence Software Inc (NASD:PRGS). delivering one of the market's first J2EE application servers to go into large-scale deployment. As Chief Technology Officer for Expersoft Corp, he has co-authored and implemented several distributed computing standards. In addition to his published papers, articles and book contributions, Patrick has 5 patents pending in the areas of Information Security and Automated Compliance Management.

Ajay Phatak, Managing Director, RTE

Ajay is the founding director and Chief Executive Officer of Jopasana. As an entrepreneur, Ajay has played an integral role in establishing the ideas and concepts of software automation to the Indian process industry. He brings in 20 years of rich experience in concept-to-deployment of mission critical industrial software systems. He has worked extensively in the areas of Industrial process control, real-time systems, mathematical modeling, and process simulation.

He has taught at the University of Pune as an adjunct faculty and has also been invited as expert to industry training programs at IIT Mumbai. His interests include application of software systems to managing total cost of ownership of critical industrial systems and application of control engineering principals to solving multidisciplinary software engineering problems. Ajay received his Bachelors - B.Tech in Chemical Engineering - from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai, India and MS in Computer Science from University of Pune.

Piers Lingle - Vice President, Business Development

Piers is responsible for scaling our Consumer Applications business. Prior to joining CoreObjects, Piers was a founder and key member of several successful software startups that were clients of the company. Piers co-founded and was the VP of Product Development at Stamps.com, a Los Angeles, California-based company that provides Internet-based mailing and shipping services (NASD: STMP). Piers was also a co-founder and CTO at Archive, an enterprise class transaction management and analytical platform/SaaS, which he sold to Cyclone Commerce. He then developed several new products and rolled out new business lines as the CTO of new applications at Cyclone Commerce (acquired by Axway).

At CoreObjects Piers is responsible for developing and expanding our consumer applications business through strategic planning, marketing development, and customer acquisition.

Piers received his undergraduate and graduate education at UCLA.
